Music.

From the depths of the internet, via the amazing and wonderful naamah_darling, I present the most awesomest video ever. Or it may be just that I am a complete sucker for a capella barbershop-quartet-inspired harmony, filk songs, and the theme from Indiana Jones, of which this has all three.

In other words, it's a tribute to John Williams by way of Star Wars.

*jawdrop* This was hilarious and awe-inspiring at once. Okay. John Williams is the best. Seriously. And, uh, is it bad that I already had the Indy Jones "lyrics" memorized by the second time they sang it?! I dunno, I have a mind for lyrics. O.o But woah, that was the best. Gosh. XDXDXD I think I'm in love. Because Star Wars was my first fandom, back before I knew the word, and I wrote my first fanfic for Star Wars when I was six, before I knew what a "fanfic" was, made up my first OCs before I knew what an OC was, and to sum up that whole sentence here, I AM A STAR WARS FAN AT HEART AND I ALWAYS WILL BE. (THIS MUST BE WHY I GOT INTO TRANSFORMERS... SCI-FI CALLS TO ME... NO MATTER HOW FAR AWAY I ROAM, I WILL ALWAYS RETURN TO THE SCI-FI...)

LOL . . . I could quote every word of this back to you and it would be true from my perspective as well, except that I think my first fanfic was for the Red Green Show when I was about nine (in my defense, I did not have regular internet access until I was in college, about six years after the internet showed up . . . my parents were technophobes or asleep or something, and the high school wouldn't let us at it for recreational use). I didn't get into Star Wars until I was twelve and my dad bought me the book (how's that for nerd cred?), but it was my main fandom until Pirates of the Caribbean showed up, and then that lasted about a year until the combination of At World's End sucking and Transformers showing up pushed it aside.

Yes. Sci-fi is wonderful.
