Waves; lost bag

Last Saturday, I went by myself to the nearby beach, La Jolla Shores. I wore my swim trunks, aqua-socks, and a t-shirt, and I carried a minimal amount of stuff in my backpack (keys, $20, cell phone, and student ID for the bus)--you know, in case my bag got stolen when I was playing in the waves

Unfortunately, when I fell away from LJ I lost your travel timeline as well. Last I heard you were going to California for a summer internship. What happened from there? :)

Hehe, lessee... I was in Berkeley last summer for a research internship. Then I went back to school in Chapel Hill. Now I'm back in California for another research internship, but this time I'm in San Diego (specifically, La Jolla), working at the UCSD campus. I've been here since mid-May, and I'm heading back to Chapel Hill mid-August, which is coming up very quickly...

Hehe, yeah, I do. I like spending summers in Cali, anyway. I am still doubtful I'd enjoy living here indefinitely, but yeah, Cali is pretty cool. :-)
