Hi. I'll give you a little thing to think about now. Kyou Kara Maou! movie. Think of it. I have been thinking about it a heck of a long time now and I'm going crazy. What if it really would be made? Wouldn't it be just the greatest thing? Or KKM OAV. Just think about it

Fans can help publishers get the idea that we want the novels by doing two things:

1. Buying Kyou Kara Maou! DVDs and proving to them that the series is profitable and popular and that bringing the novels over won't be a money-losing venture.
2. Buying translated novels of other series, such as the Only the Ring Finger Knows novel. Translated novels have been really hit-or-miss for the industry and I think they're very cautious when dealing with them.

Money speaks louder than words. The more profitable a property proves to be, the more merchandise is usually brought over. I'm anxious right now because it doesn't appear that Geneon has licensed episodes 40+ yet and I really, REALLY hope the series has been doing well enough that they do.

they -should- be doing well enough!...even anime/manga-stores here in Sweden are importing the US-dvd's - and they are really expensive too o'.'o (but the dvd-covers are so pretty ^,^ and I'm always so happy when I get my hands on 'em)
...and kkm is very popular among anime/manga-fans here, which is why the dvd's are being imported ^w^
So let's have faith and hope for translated manga and novels!!
..and let's also hope that other people are buying the stuff as well ^^;;

The novels for Only the Ring Finger Knows have been translated? Oooh, when did this happen? Where can you get them?

They were liscenced by DMP. :D The first one came out in March and the second is set to come out in July.
As to where you can find the first one.....I haven't found it yet in the bookstores I've been to. XD They are all listed on amazon.com, at least...

Do you know how many novels there are all together? Or is it still going? Hmmm . . . I dunno if I can afford 9 dollars a book. :( Poor college student sitting over here. :T

i heard there are three novels

i think we could bug DMP to release the KKM novels

anyone up for an email campaign and spamming their forum
if we get enough peeps working on it, we might be able to show them that there is enough interest to translate it

I so agree with you. I joined the fandom after all the episodes had already come out, but I'm still already dying. Fanfiction can only keep me alive for so long...
