Wow. Brilliant.

The last one kind-of creepy though--but I can so seeing the Sage and Shinou doing that to Adlebert--having Adlebert's daughter have Shinou's soul, not as punishment for abandoning Shin Makoku or even for defying Shinou, but as a reward for helping to truly free Shinou's soul. Beautiful ( ... )

I agree entirely, I think that Murata remains loyal to both of them -- he needs to save Shinou, and in order to do that he's put Yuuri in a position where Shinou and Soushi will be vulnerable to his unique ability to "cleanse" the darkness. My main question is, will Shinou be reborn, or will Shinou AND Murata be reborn? ^_~

I'm also curious to see what part Shouri is going to play -- and some last remaining questions about the Wincott family.

I'm totally thrilled with the idea of Lily, so I might write more about her. XD I think that it IS a bit creepy, and Adalbert would probably be deeply furious if he knew, but in a way this is what he needed. He lost faith in Shinou even though REALLY Shinou only wants the same things he wants -- and now Shinou makes amends, and gives him his faith back. Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been thinking this way. (And Jennifer's long-awaited daughter is another fantastic idea!)

My main question is, will Shinou be reborn, or will Shinou AND Murata be reborn? ^_~Such a good question! I never even thought about that--it would really depend on a couple of different things. (1) Is Murata Mazoku? Or even half-Mazoku like Yuuri? Because if he is one or the other, and since he can use his magic I imagine he is, he'll have the super-long lifespan and he'll be alive for the entire time Shinou growing up. It might even be more beneficial for Murata to stay as he is because then he can help raise Shinou, be his friend--I still think being the Godfather would be hilarious ( ... )

I always assumed that the reason Murata has had multiple lives that he always remembered wasn't because he needed to, but because he's the Sage. I figured that if you're going to have an extremely wise figure throughout the ages, he would retain -- or at least regain at some point -- the memories of his prior life. The circumstance of being reborn seems to be very rare, but apparently when it does happen, it happens in the sense of Julia/Yuuri: no memory, no association to the past life ( ... )
