the drama cds follow the novels (but in less detail) from what i understand and they're VERY different. I don't remember the anime well because i've been so submerged into the goings on in Holy Sand with the boxes, Sara and his brother and zombies and all sorts of really intense stuff. Conrad doesn't come back so easily and there's a TON of animosity for a bit. There are characters inserted into the anime that don't even exist in the novels. (Alford, for one). Greta can listen to a kohi bone to hear them communicate. it's kinda weird.. but better than anissina trying to open gwendal's skull for information :D (you can tell what track i listened to recently...)

personally, i think he's the least interesting, but he is with yuuri for the holy sand arc. well, most of the time. they get separated and yuuri ends up blind and roaming around with sara, but they meet up again.

If I could read Japanese or Chinese, I would read it all T__T. Because I heard that Conrad novel! Version is much better than the anime. And is it true that The betrayal arc was actually longer than in anime? Uuhh.. what volume does this arc finished?? I wanna see his badass side since I always seen his "perfect" side in anime (oh well..I Love Conrad most!:B)
Blind!?? How could?? Was it because of Conrad?! Nooo...

So, we could say.. most of season 2 and 3 are Original story?? :/ wasn't there (at least) one or two episodes that resemble to the novel?

And Awww for that Conrad x Maidmer Icon xD

Awww... you SHOULD read it all, dear!! And tell me what happened with Conrad on the betrayal arc xD. Actually I read the review until volume 11 (or 12) and I'm pretty disappointed with season 2 from the beginning, because this arc was finished very quickly..since then I don't know whether the anime story was still adapted from the novel or not..:(

I really don't think I read well enough to be able to read them in Japanese

But at least you have you understand it enough. Me? I could only starring at those kanji *_*

but every time someone translates something from the novel for me it\'s so depressing.

0___0?? which one?? which one??

Did you read them in Japanese? Because I've been looking for the books in English, and I've only gotten past volume 2.
