I've noticed in many, many fanfics that it's mentioned that Wolfram loves sweet food which Yuuri isn't fond of as he is more of a savoury guy

Hmmm, maybe it is fanon. It just seems so very common that everyone mentions how much Wolfram loves sweets. Ah well...

I remember some official pictures in which he is shown with sweet things from earth, so maybe it´s not totally fanon, yet it´s not specially mentioned in the novel that he has a sweet tooth, as far as I know.

This has never been mentioned officially in the novels/mangas/anime, but there are several scenes in which Wolfram eats sweets. So we can tell that Wolfram doesn't dislike sweets, or yes, he likes sweets, although there's no official record that he totally LOVES sweets. I mean, like and love are different.
But judging from how he bought those all sweets, perhaps he indeed loves sweet.

And most of the fans probably have the idea of Wolfram has a sweet-tooth based on the information + pictures on this site:

I always thought it was from the manga. Theres a mini story in volume 4 and everytime you see Wolfram his eating a different kind of cake / sweet XDDD

There's a translation floating around either on here or on where Wolfram eats something sweet (I think he's on Earth with Yuuri), and Yuuri thinks about how Wolfram likes sweet things more than he does.
