See... All I have heard are very vague things. I don't even know what exactly is going on.

All I know that if it continues... we might have to start collecting all over again to save the integrity of the project...

I would cry if that happened. I haven't even heard anything about it, but then again I mostly only deal with maruma communities on this site so thats probably why...

I've personally been spammed by people trying to get me to sign by leaving comments in my LJ, as well as PMs on fanfiction.net. And honestly... now I have no desire to sign it at all. ^^;; It wasn't any fan names that I recognized, though.

I do wish you luck on the project anyways.

This is the biggest problems, that people create accounts just for that and if it continues it might go against the goal of the petition.

Also it came to my attention that there is not only this petition but other people organized other petitions around so the thing might be doubled or tripled.

And I add my pleas too here because I think it's useless to make a full post on Wolfram community.

I've seen with my eyes people posting on ff.net just to promote the petition, opening 3 threads on aarinfantasy about this, adding also messages on other threads...it's just too much. Same for PMs.

It doesn't help, it makes users, readers and fans annoyed at the point that they might not sign, please refrain from doing it.

Also, commenting on entries just to remind of the petition, I'm sure it's done with the best intentions but please, don't do it.

I think at this point everyone knows already here on lj, and for the other places, please, before promoting the project, make sure nobody did it before you and do it only once.
