aaawww....
faint, but i can feel Yuuri actually cares for Wolfram
i just heart the novel more than the anime even though i never read it, but there's person on ff who said that the novel's Wolfram is more more dark than the anime and Yuuri is not a dense as the anime

I think Yuri cares alot ^___^

From what I've read in different translations and discussions Wolfram is very devoted, strong and not at all as 'loud' as in the anime. It seems to me that Yuri unconsciously found a role model in him. I also think that Yuri didn't understand how strong Wolfram was for quite a while, partially because Yuri 'defeated' him when he was forced to prove he was a real Maoh and also because Wolfram looks cute and the same age as him. But whenever Yuri speaks of him now I think it's easy to see a great deal of admiration in his words.
Dunno, that's how I feel about them, even though I'm obviously biased, coz I love Wolfram very much XD

Uuu, i really want to read the 'honey' part, i've read it somewhere about Yuuri talking with Wolf about Wolf's hair like honey or something~

and, yesh, i love Wolfram too, he's way too tsundere^^ *hug Wolf*

didn't like Conrad there either :/ there probably is a good reason for his actions, but I haven't seen the rest of the book and haven't even read the one before it, so I am very curious about the tension between brothers myself.
Maybe someone who knows what happened can explain without spoiling too much ^_^

Conrad is a lot like that in the novels, he is very Yuuri centered there and whoever harms him be it his own blood relative, is an enemy.

But it's cute, I should point out that there is a reason why Wolfram is not allowing Yuuri to heal him...
Any case this novel was full of WolfYuu (especially the bed part later XD) and of angst, if you like Yuuri angsting because Wolfram is keeping him far you'll like the novel XD

this kind of Conrad actually makes more sense to me... The anime one often looks (to me) like a creepy adult with an ever present smile on his face >_< I will be glad to know about his character and motives a little more. Maybe I'll even like him XD if he's a really bad guy

Any case this novel was full of WolfYuu (especially the bed part later XD)

Gosh, you've left me with high hopes and crying coz I won't be able to see the books before mid January (most likely).. damn, fate is cruel
but thanks for telling about all that stuff anyways XD made me happy that I ordered them

Actually I like way more Conrad in the anime compared to Conrad in the novels...
it's incredible but I have completely opposite feelings for anime Conrad and novel Conrad.
I don't like Conrad in the novels...and if you hope to find out his motives, no luck it's been 16 novels and we don't know anything of the reasons he acts like that. We just know this:
Conrad-------->Yuuri, he depends on Yuuri psychologically, he is his only reason to live, if Yuuri is fine then everything is right in the world; it seems as if he doesn't really care about his family or friends.
I love anime Conrad because he shows his worries toward all the people he loves, in the novels it seems he loves only Yuuri.

that's interesting, what you're saying.
I think what I'm looking for is consistency (for the lack of better description). Anime!Conrad doesn't make sense to me, I don't understand his actions and that 'so-graceful-as-though-to-cover-a-giant-lie' smile of his, something just doesn't look right. If novel!Conrad is even creepier, it's fine with me, as long as his actions are logical, even if Takabayashi-sensei hasn't explained his reasons yet. I'm gonna enjoy the mistery XD I wonder if it has something to do with Yuri being half-human just like Conrad...

ps, why did you say there were 16 novels? aren't there 15 published plus extra ones?.. have I missed something? o_o
