Hi !

I was wondering : it seems to me that Conrad is the only one who actually tries to make jokes in the series... and we all know Yuuri doesn't find them that good...
First of all : Am I right ? (or does anyone else make jokes ?)

Then according to you...what would be the sort of joke that would make Yuuri laugh ?

People do make jokes in the series, (ie Shibuya Yuuri Harajuku Fuuri) but they are from what I can tell mostly play on words. Conrad is the only one in the series who tries a little too hard. Especially with his "Alaska" joke, and I think Yuuri would have found it funny if he wasn't caught so off guard, I think Yuuri was kinda shocked that Perfect Conrad would actually suck at something.

I think that joke would work, it depends on the context of the situation being used. No offense that joke is dumb, but I think it would get a laugh out of Yuuri because it is coming from Conrad. I think any joke could work as long as Conrad isn't trying too hard to fit the joke in somewhere. Good luck and I hope that helped!

I think partly the only reason Konrad cracks jokes is because he's been to Earth where it may be more common? They seem to be rather a serious lot in Shin Makoku *pouts* so it may be that they lack even the basics for understanding stuff like that. I dunno, I haven't really studied it in depth for something like that, but it seems like a good reason to me *chuckles*

And yeah, Rodriguez is from Earth tho, so I dunno if that would count? Or maybe it just proves my point that it's an Earth thing...? *chuckles* (and that plaque joke was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad)
