That would cause an unnecessary amount of damage to your opponent, unless you are actually trying to cause significant and even life threatening damage.

But when you consider the amount of additional effort needed, as well as the potential for damage to your wrists and phalanges, and even the rest of the joints in your arms, I highly doubt it would be worth it.

It is also very unsportsmanlike.
