Your apprehensive feelings are very understandable. I wish I could offer some advice but I don't know what it's like to live alone as I still haven't made it out on my own yet, but hang in there; life may not be easy and life-changing decisions are intimidating, but keep your chin up and confide in decisions you carefully make!
* Eeeee, Takuto! <3 I try not to say this too much, but I really, really wish Takuto was real. He's pretty much my idea of an ideal guy. I would crush on him so hard if he were real! * I sometimes ship him with Wako. I used to ship him with Head until I realized that they were father and son. That revelation sank my ship rather quickly... * Takuto/Sugata/Wako friendship OT3! I've always loved their dynamics, to the point where I almost don't want to ship them with anyone, even each other. I'd hate to see their friendship break apart because of that. * Uh, I don't ship him with Sugata, romantically? I never did manage to find the Star Driver fandom, so I'm just assuming that's the most popular ship. * He needed more than one scene with his father. The punch was glorious, but I was hoping for a bit more dialogue between them.
Takuto/Sugata/Wako broT3 is amaaaazing and I totally get what you mean by not wanting to break them up through shipping. One of my favorite parts about the ending is that they're still together. ♥
And yes to the part about Takuto and Head; there really wasn't much that happened between the two outside of battle and while it was obvious that their relationship is extremely strained (to nonexistent), I would've expected more family-related talk to come from their face to face meeting than just a sock in the face...
The world needs more broT3s! I liked most of the ending, actually. (I had a post partially typed up about it, but then life got in the way.) I think the only thing I didn't like about the ending is that we never heard from Fukubuchou and the club pres again. They're both aliens, right? And they had something to do with the Cybodies? It's not fair that they dropped that bombshell and never explained it further.
Head no doubt deserved the punch to the face, but I'm amazed that Takuto didn't start screaming at him as well. I know I'd have some very choice words to say to my father if he abandoned me like that...
lol I just looked at your interests to see if I had any that matched yours except for one piece. But hey, I'm choosing a one piece character anyways.
Robin. Go!
And about your apprehension, don't worry, I'm going through that too. I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to get a second degree (one in social work) instead of just one an associates in medical administration. So I'm just kind of going D: What do I do? I know I want a new job but if I want a second degree it'd be easier to stay at the job I have now but I hate it and...yeah. I'm just going nuts. Take comfort in the fact that you aren't the only one.
* I liked her a lot during the Alabasta arc, but once she joined the crew, I kind of lost interest. I guess I liked the "bad girl" image that she had going while she was working with Crocodile. * I don't ship her with anyone, but if I had to choose, I'd probably pair her with Sanji. Though I could see her with just about any of the straw hats since she has such a laid back personality. * I'm sure that she and Nami are quickly becoming bffs, since they're the only girls on the ship (and possibly the only "normal" members). * I didn't think her backstory was very interesting. Tragic, but not interesting. * I wish she would do more, in terms of the fights. She has an amazing Devil's Fruit power, but it seems like she's stuck on the sidelines or in a supporting role all the time. :(
Good luck. At least we aren't alone in our indecision...
I agree with you about her backstory. I wasn't very interested in Nami's either.
I cried like a baby during Chopper's though. There were a couple of others as well.
Robin is an interesting character, they just don't seem to do much with her.
I think the other characters get more screen time. I think what I like about a lot of the characters is how funny they are. Robin, and to a lesser extent, Nami, don't make me laugh very much, so I like them less.
I almost cried during Nami's. Nami's backstory is probably my favorite.
Chopper, on the other hand... It was sad, but I find him so annoying that I can't bring myself to care about how hard his life was. I'm slowly starting to like him more after the time-skip.
I'm beginning to wonder if Luffy's goal of 10 crewmates is too many. Ever since Brooke and Franky joined, it seems like each individual character gets much less screen time. I kind of miss the old arcs, when the crew was smaller.
* Kid is by far my favorite character from Soul Eater. I can relate to him since I'm a bit obsessive compulsive about symmetry and color. But at the same time, it's hilarious that his OCD is taken to such extreme levels. Who ever heard of symmetry as a weakness? He's also a pretty nice guy. * I don't ship him with anyone. He's a death god in training. He doesn't need to be paired up with someone to be awesome. * Kid/Liz/Patti OT3! Their friendship is adorable. * I don't know the fandom's opinion on this, but I really hate his theme song. * I wish they'd spent more time on the story of how he met Liz and Patti. I'm also highly intrigued by the sanzu lines, and wish all three of them would connect so we can see what happens. (I'm assuming he turns into a full death god and his dad dies (vanishes?), but I'm wondering if there's some other side effect.)
I wish I had some Kid icons. I've yet to find any that I really liked...
