Nooooo, I spoiled myself. ;____;

As some of you know, I'm a bit obsessed with Fire Emblem, especially Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn. I'm on the last few chapters of Radiant Dawn and I hope to finish it soon. Until I DO finish it, I have been religiously avoiding anything that could spoil the end of the game. That means no fanfics or fanart or joining LJ communities or reading up ( Read more... )

nooooooooo!, cry more, fire emblem, i'm a moron

I think a more accurate tl;dr would be- "oh noez i hate spoilers; i am really good at predicting games!"

Nah, but for real, that sucks man. I hate how I spoil crap. Except Pokemon... I always look for Pokemon spoilers.

lol Yeah, I guess that's true.

Well, Pokemon is different than most games since it doesn't have much going in terms of plot. If I had a choice, I'd prefer not to know the new Pokemon before the games came out... but that would mean leaving pkmncollectors and staying off the internet for months on end.

IGNORING TEXT SO AS NOT TO SPOIL SELF

but

I haven't even played the games yet and I already don't like Soren just because he has unpleasant associations in my mind XD my arrogant gay jerk of an ex cosplayed as him not long before we broke up.

Aw. I can't say that's ever happened to me (mostly because I'm one of the few people who cosplays within my circle of friends), but that could ruin a character. D:

You should still give the games a try sometime. Even if you don't like Soren, there are 2-3 other mages you can use instead. Or if you really don't like Soren you could let him die, because his death speech is pretty hilarious... but that would make me sad.

PS - I forgot to ask before, but could you pack the frames well? When my mother found out about the $50 shipping, her first statement was "I hope those aren't made of glass. If they break on the way over here, you'll have to get a custom to have them fixed." And a custom would probably cost $30 at least. Now I'm worried. (Thanks, mom.) D:

I'm definitely going to give the games a try, don't worry XD I bought them all already! Just haven't had time yet. Is there a specific timeline order I should play them in? I know Radiant Dawn follows from Path of Radiance, but I don't know how the other three fit in.

I'll pack the frames as well as I'm able, but it's quite worrying =/ I'm honestly not sure what they're made of, but they cost $3 each so I doubt it's anything particularly expensive XD Still, I wish you could get A4 frames there - it'd be a lot cheaper and less trouble for both of us! Silly America and your letter paper.

By other three you mean the GBA and DS ones, right? Fire Emblem and Shadow Dragon and Sacred Stones are all set in different worlds from Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn, so play them in whatever order you want. Just be sure to play Path of Radiance before Radiant Dawn or you will be confused.

Thanks. Just wanted to double-check since I've received some international packages with little to no padding from other comm members. It's literally impossible to find A4 frames here. Most people don't even know they exist. Out of curiosity, can you find 9" x 12" frames over there?

that does suck but.. I think it's one of the greatest episodes in the series. I mean, it'll probably two hours of BAAAAAAAAAW because thats just how it is. But I think it's one of the best series with some of the best development for it's characters, especially Toboe c:

And lol Tsume/Toboe

I'm about halfway through it right now. I find that I have to watch it in a certain mood. Otherwise I just get restless and depressed all at the same time.

People ship this?

Aww
I avoid spoilers for shows/books too unless they're really long running. Never read past the 3rd harry potter book, but i would definitely recomend finishing death note. If nothing else there is the 2 hour "re-write" movies~ :)

I'd recommend trying the 4th Harry Potter book if you liked/didn't mind the first three. I wasn't too crazy about the first three books, but my roommate convinced me to keep reading. The series gets a bit darker and picks up speed from there.

I've tried to finish Death Note a few times, but I lost interest after L died. I don't like Near or Mello or Light very much. Not enough to care who wins, at least...

I always try to avoid spoilers too, but I end up finding them by accident anyway. |: Fallout 3, inFAMOUS, p much every game I've played I've accidentally spoiler. All except Heavy Rain, because when I got it I ignored *anything* on the internets talking about it, and it was good too because a lot of people were being dicks and spoiling the huge twist in that game as well. someone even made an LJ account just to spoil HR lol

SPOILERS ARE DUMB. I bet i will accidentally spoilers about tons of other games I get in the future too. :C boo.
