I FOUND THE BEST SHINY POKEMON!

In general, I have really bad luck with finding shiny Pokemon. It's been about 6 years since I found a wild shiny (chain fishing not included).

After logging 160+ hours on Pokemon X, I finally ran across a shiny in the friend safari:

Yayyy, congratulations! Shiny Charizard is indeed an amazing shiny to have, and Timid with 3 perfect IVs? Sounds like your shiny luck was just saving itself up until that encounter, haha!

Unfortunately one of his perfect IVs was Attack, but that's okay because his Speed was perfect as well.

I hope my shiny luck holds out (I want to hatch that shiny Gastly in a matching premiere ball), but even if I never find another shiny in gen 6, I will be content.

I hope you manage to hatch a shiny Gastly, too! And hang out in the Friend Safari a lot--I've found quite a few shinies that way already.

I've started hanging out in the friend safari more often ever since I found my shiny Charmeleon. If I find another shiny, great. If not, I'll continue to search for females with hidden abilities and good IVs.

Very nice, congrats!! I hoped for a shiny Charmander while hatching eggs for my Charizard, but didn't luck out. ^_^;

I've pretty much given up on hatching shiny eggs after having terrible luck with it in the past. The only exception is if I happen to have a 4 IV or 5 IV foreign parent, in which case I might as well use Masuda Method while breeding for IVs.

I didn't know you had two Ho-ohs. :o Unfortunately, I don't have much to trade. I think the best thing I have is extra event legendaries (Darkrai, shiny Giratina/Dialga/Palkia, etc) and a few Pokemon from Colosseum/XD with unique moves (like Baton Pass Zapdos).

I'm sure we can work out a trade. At this point, there isn't much I need. Thing is, what will I do with 3 shiny Ho-ohs?! I rather send one to someone who will appreciate it as much as I do. I do agree with you, shiny Ho-oh is very lovely...:3

I would love a Ho-oh if you don't plan to keep all of them! I know that you have a complete Pokedex already and probably don't need/want much of anything, but let me know if you have a preference between legendaries, Pokemon with special moves from XD/Colosseum, or my 5 IV breeding fodder. (I can give you a full list of my for-trade Pokemon this weekend.)
