Do any of my west- or east-coast friends want to do me a favor?

I never knew that finding red/blue colored pencils for sketching would be so difficult. I finally decided which brands/colors I want, but the local art stores (Hobby Lobby and Michaels) don't carry them. Staples doesn't carry them. Amazon doesn't sell the individual pencils, and I don't want to drop $6-$15 on a set until I know that I like them.

I had never heard of them either until I moved to Philadelphia. I think those chains are mostly located in the north/northeast (and California, of course).

My Dick Blick order has already shipped unfortunately. I know my Dad has numerous art stores around him, but he just left to go on vacation and I have no clue when he will be back? When he does return, if you have not found anyone to do a pick-up, then I'll be happy to ask him...;)

Thanks for the offer. I think I've found someone who can pick them up, but I'll let you know if that falls through.

We have a local store called The Art Store. There's also a store called Hyatt's down the street from that. I actually need to go to The Art Store today so I'll keep an eye out for those pencils! And then Hyatt's I can check as well if The Art Store fails me (it's right by Pet Smart which I need to go to as well). :) Will let you know when I get back if I found them ^^

So I managed to find and grab the Col-Erase and had no luck with the Caran d'Ache. :( If someone manages to find both, no worries! These were pretty cheap and could come in handy for my own work. XD

I've never heard of either of those stores. I wonder if we have any in Oklahoma...

Anyway, thank you so much! A couple of other people are looking for the Caran d'Ache, so I may wait and see if anyone can find all of the pencils at the same place to save on shipping. Of course, if for some reason you decide you can't or don't want to keep the Prismacolors, I will still buy them off of you. Having doubles probably wouldn't hurt.

Someone did manage to find both the col-erase and the caran d'ache at the same store. Let me know if you're planning to keep the col-erase or if you'd like me to buy them from you. I don't want you to get stuck with something that you won't use.

I got a Blick in town near me! I can take the train in this coming week and pick them up for you when I go to get some things I need, if you like.

If you could do that, I would really appreciate it. (If I somehow luck out and manage to find them before your Blick trip, I'll let you know.)

Man, I miss having a Utrecht within walking distance and a DickBlick within bus/subway distance.

Hello! I'm actually heading to an art supply store in Lansing today that should have these in stock. I'll let you know if I find them or not. Also, no big deal if someone gets these for you first, as I'll be more than happy to use them myself.
