Question about Japanese DS/DSi games

I am about to pre-order the Japanese version of Pokemon White 2, but I just wanted to double-check... it WILL work on either an English 3DS or an English DS Lite, correct? It says it's DSi enhanced, and that DSi enhanced titles are region locked on DSi consoles... but that doesn't affect the DS Lite, yes? I have a feeling I asked this question a

Unless BW2 is different from BW (which I don't believe it is?), it will work on a US DS Lite for sure, but possibly not on a 3DS/DSi/otherfancyDS. We have the Japanese versions of B and W and they work fine on both my Japanese DSL and my boyfriend's US DSL.

I ordered mine from PlayAsia because after comparing prices with ordering it through my deputy, it was a little cheaper. (Also, my deputy totally sat on my Nobunaga game for a week before invoicing me so I'm not inclined to do that again.) I picked express shipping, but am still dreading a possibly long wait!

I found the game on Yesasia too, for slightly cheaper... but I don't remember how fast Yesasia's shipping is.

I am getting mine through PlayAsia.com mostly because I have a 5.00 coupon. Though in the end it won't matter since I am getting the Fedex express shipping. expensive ass shipping Here's hoping it doesn't take them forever and a day to ship on the 23rd.

Right now however the hard part is deciding which version to get since I don't believe anything has been released about which version has what.

I wish I had a $5 off coupon. The site that I normally get them from doesn't have any new ones. I may order mine from Yesasia instead. It's $5 cheaper and has free shipping... though I think the shipping is pretty slow.

I've been told that you're supposed to get White 2 if you played White and Black 2 if you played black. I'm getting White 2 since White was my "main" version, then probably getting Black 2 in English when it's released.

It'll definitely work on your Lite and almost certainly not on your 3DS.

By the way, I was reading a book the other day and I came across a character named Amara. My mind was blown that it is (apparently) a real name. I always assumed it was your nickname or something.
