In which everyone on my f-list kills me because I never shut up.

I started keeping strict track of what I eat again as opposed to last week, when I threw up my hands and said "baaawww, I'm on my period and don't care about diets. Give me more chocolate!" I think it's official: this 1200 calorie diet is the cause of my constant exhaustion. It's even worse than usual today because yesterday I only managed 950 ( Read more... )

life, first world problems, movie, idiot alert, complaining, this post is too long, disney, no one cares, i was a dumb kid, cry more, i never shut up, i'm a moron

Cheddar's didn't have anything online either, so I ended up looking at Chili's nutrition info as a guide. I split my meal in three portions (one for yesterday, one for today, one for tomorrow). From what I've found, eating one meal at a restaurant isn't too many more calories than eating two meals at home, if you're careful on portion sizes ( ... )

Well that was rude of that waitress at Cheddars. She simply could have said "no" if that was the case. I'm sorry that you had gotten such bad service. x_x

See now I have my debates on actually seeing beauty and the beast(was wondering how they were going to make that in 3D). Oh well, I remember when I was thinking about the time laps in the Lion King for the longest time. When Simba ran away I always thought he was gone for like months or so, ended up being around 3-4 years if you think about it. But didn't occur to me when I was little.

Disney movies have really weird time lapses. ;-;

If you can get a free ticket through Disney Movie Rewards, might as well see it. I'm not sure I would want to pay for a ticket though (mostly because of the "Why is Chip floating?!" scenes). Some of the scenes that I thought would work well in 3D were unimpressive, and some of the scenes that I didn't really notice before were quite nice in 3D.

I always realized that Simba was gone for a few years, but that's only because they showed him aging in Hakuna Matata.

It's mostly the princess movies that give me hangups on time. I always assume that anywhere from a month to a year passes on love stories (because the whole "love at first sight" concept has always been foreign to me), but if you actually look at the princess movies, most of them happen in a much shorter time-span.

I know that in my state we are required to have all of that calorie information. We have several different ways to access it: brochures in our restaurant that we can hand out to guests, our website, a very large packet (that has everything down to approximate calories if someone asks for light mayo on a burger) that also includes allergy information, and we also print the calorie information on receipts ( ... )

I'm not sure I'd call her temperamental (she was really nice the rest of the time, and even offered to re-cook my burned food) but it was still annoying. I get enough friends and relatives telling me what to eat on my diet. I don't need people that I don't know doing it too ( ... )

You'll find a lot of stuff online that goes back and forth about complex carbs. I read one that said 'because hunter-gatherer cultures didn't eat many carbs that's why they were healthier' and another that said 'complex carbs give us energy so they're needed.' It's up to you. If you want lots of bread-type stuff then I'd try to eat whole wheat bread with a little bit of peanut butter or something on it (the protein will help too with energy I find).

It all depends on what you want to eat I guess. If I was on a diet and was craving something like ice cream I would try to eat another dairy product (like yogurt or milk) instead of the higher fat ice cream. I have no idea how it all works though. The way that I see it is if I ever wanted to lose weight I'd just increase my activity level. I don't feel that what I eat is all that bad, though I should definitely cut back on my sodium intake.

Ooooooh, nice jacket! I'm envious it's machine washable. I'm always disappointed when I find awesome clothes and they're dry clean.

I didn't even realize it was machine washable until I got home and thought "oh yeah, I forgot to check the tags". I just about died from happiness when I discovered that I wouldn't have to dry clean it.
