I started keeping strict track of what I eat again as opposed to last week, when I threw up my hands and said "baaawww, I'm on my period and don't care about diets. Give me more chocolate!" See now I have my debates on actually seeing beauty and the beast(was wondering how they were going to make that in 3D). Oh well, I remember when I was thinking about the time laps in the Lion King for the longest time. When Simba ran away I always thought he was gone for like months or so, ended up being around 3-4 years if you think about it. But didn't occur to me when I was little.
Disney movies have really weird time lapses. ;-;

I always realized that Simba was gone for a few years, but that's only because they showed him aging in Hakuna Matata.
It's mostly the princess movies that give me hangups on time. I always assume that anywhere from a month to a year passes on love stories (because the whole "love at first sight" concept has always been foreign to me), but if you actually look at the princess movies, most of them happen in a much shorter time-span.

It all depends on what you want to eat I guess. If I was on a diet and was craving something like ice cream I would try to eat another dairy product (like yogurt or milk) instead of the higher fat ice cream. I have no idea how it all works though. The way that I see it is if I ever wanted to lose weight I'd just increase my activity level. I don't feel that what I eat is all that bad, though I should definitely cut back on my sodium intake.
