my dad is doing the same to me, except with a video game. but i can't tell if its because he wants to buy ME it, or if he's just projecting because i know he wants it. LOL

Either way, at least you get a game out of it. I got my mom into Doctor Who. When she found out that there was a Christmas special not included in my DVD sets, she bought it for me. Maybe I need to drag my mom into my fandoms more often...

ACTUALLY........not really. LOL. Not unless my dad played console games would this work, but PC games have DRM to prevent them from being pirated/installed on all the computers. it is kind of fun to be playing the same game as someone else in my house though. IT'S HARD FOR ME THOUGH bcuz i play a lot of PS3 exclusive titles so much and my dad is PC gamer.

our household is actually going to have 5 copies of Deus Ex in it after christmas though, bcuz everyone is getting it as a gift. (EXCEPT ME, OF COURSE) but lol.

that is almost where our taste in media ends, with the exception of some movies......and star trek. |D

She's not very tech savvy. Every time I put something like an iPod or a game system on my Christmas list, she'll ask me if, hypothetically speaking, I would care about the color, size, etc. If she asks those types of questions more than 3 times, it means I'm probably getting the gift.

Haha, you should just put colour and size on the list :P
