Let's Make a Deal

How about this: I'm culturally Jewish, and I don't believe in God. My family celebrates Hannukah. I don't say peep when people wish me Merry Christmas. I smile and reciprocate. In return, why doesn't the wacky, angry end of the Christian team shut the hell up about the War on Christmas? It doesn't exist.

You're just saying that the war on Christmas doesn't exist because you hate the little baby jesus.

I never said I didn't hate Jesus, I just love Christmas. They don't have that much to do with each other.

But I love Christmas! Christmas, Thanksgiving Halloween are the three great secular holidays.

I wonder if historically, he was actually the Easter platypus. That would explain pretty much everything.

I have a "let's put the 'Chan' back in 'Channukah'" t-shirt. It has a kippah-ed Jakie Chan jump-kicking a channukiah. I find the sentiment appropriate and topical.

There is definitely much too little Jackie Chan in Channukah.
