Ooookay. So, considering that I apparently have to start sewing soon, I thought I'd check out the fabric market today. It's an outdoor market that comes to town every few months, but I've never made it there before. So while I was waiting for the tube I thought to myself "Hope I'll find the place" since it isn't directly at the train station. Yeah

Stoffmarkt ist tödlich. Ich gehe nächste Woche. Dabei habe ich noch ganz viel Stoff. Und nähe aktuell so gut wie gar nicht. Aber: meine Kinder fangen gerade an und wollen sich Stoffe und vor allem Satinbänder und so was aussuchen. Der Ausflug wird böse. Das weiß ich jetzt schon.

Ging gar nich. Jetzt hab ich bergeweise Stoff hier liegen, dabei hab ich's bis heute noch nich geschafft auch nur eine gerade Linie zu nähen. Ich seh schon Desaster in meiner Zukunft...lol :D

Irgendwie kann man nicht an den ganzen Stoffen vorbeigehen. Bei mir kommt immer noch dazu, dass ich dann Stoffe sehe, wo ich genau weiß, zu wem die passen würden. Dann kaufe ich die und überlege im Nachhinein, was ich da draus überhaupt nähen könnte. Insofern sammeln sich hier Stoffe ohne Ende, weil ich dauernd einkaufe ohne zu wissen, was das überhaupt werden soll.

That sounds awesome! And like I'd really really get into trouble there. I always have such grand plans, and it's so much easier to buy fabric than make stuff.

Word! I have so much fabric lying around here now and I'm terrible at sewing! I don't know what I was even thinking when I bought all that stuff. I can barely sew a straight line, much less anything more complicated...
