Premonition 1/3

Summary: I’ve fixed season five of B&S. If the writers can go all silly with the show then so can I. Btw I actually liked some of the SL just some of the writing didn’t gel with me.
The last thing Scotty remembers is Sarah’s and Luc’s wedding. Nora had suggesting taking Olivia and Daniel home with her so that they could have some “grown up” time (it was the way she phrased it) but they still found it difficult to leave him so they declined the offer and headed home.
Kevin drove home; he hadn’t drunk anything all night, to be honest he had stopped drinking so much once Olivia had moved in and then he seemed to have completely stopped drinking once they got Daniel back. It was new but he didn’t mind it.
Scotty was falling asleep slowly on the passengers’ seat; he wanted to stay awake to keep an eye on the kids and keep Kevin compare but he couldn’t keep his eyes open. It was then that he felt a rippling down go down his spine and he realized that everything hurt.
“Scotty, honey, you have to wake up please, please, wake up for me” Kevin words sounded like a whisper but he could hear the plea in his husband voice.
Scotty eyes opened slowly; he had a hard time opening his eyes, like he had been asleep for awhile and they were just refusing to open. He could make out a blurred vision of Kevin next to him but that was it. He had a moment’s thought about where the kids were but his eyes slide close again.

“Kevin” said the women as she walked into Scotty room “how is he doing?”
Kevin approached her and gave her a hug “I don’t know, I really don’t, he looked like he was waking up earlier but now” Kevin said moving away from and trying to shake the bad feeling out of him “I can’t believe I did this; it’s all my fault” Kevin said holding in his tears.
“This is not your fault, Kevin” the women said “it was an accident; and many people got hurt, no one is to blame for this” she said steadily and strongly for Kevin.
“I didn’t even notice anything was wrong with him” Kevin explained “he seemed fine, cuts and bruises but fine. I was so busy running around and checking on everyone else that I didn’t notice that my own husband needed me” he was definitely in tears now and was trying to wipe them away and pretend they weren’t there.
“Hey” the women said approaching Kevin “there was no sign of external damage to his head; besides a tiny bump. How were you supposed to know that he had brain swelling; you got him here and that is the most important thing, believe me you did good”
“We’ve already lost Robert; we can’t lose Scotty too” Kevin said.

Scotty started to wake up again and this time he was determine to open his eyes and reassure everyone (meaning Kevin, Olivia and Daniel) that he was going to be okay. He started to make out the figures of Kevin and a women talking.
As his eyes adjusted he couldn’t believe what he was seeing; was that really Michelle or was he imagining things.
His eyes were now open all the way and he was staring at Kevin and Michelle in shock.
“Oh my god” Michelle said looking at him “you’re awake, thank god” she said walking over to the bed but stopped when she say the expression on Scotty face. It was a mixture of shock, hurt and angry; she didn’t quite understand it.
Kevin had turned around once Michelle had started to talk and went straight over to Scotty bed; picked up his hand and kissed his palm. He wanted to do more but knew he would be in pain for a while. Then he saw that Scotty was paying any attention to him; his face was locked on Michelle’s and he look anger to an extent that he doesn’t see that often.
“Sweetie, what’s wrong?” Kevin asked smoothing Scotty’s arm.
It was then Scotty looked at Kevin and so the worried look of concern on his husbands face.
“What is she doing here” Scotty said literally spitting out every word.
Kevin looks back at Michelle and they both held the same expression of worry and panic.
“Um, honey, it’s Michelle. Of course she would be here, why wouldn’t you want to see her?” Kevin asked hesitantly.
“Because she stole our baby” Scotty said as if Kevin was the crazy person.
“No honey” Kevin said smoothing Scotty’s hair “She is carrying our baby”.
Michelle started walking closer to Scotty “I even think I might be starting to show; I know it’s early but I’m sure I am” Michelle said jokingly and pulling up her shirt.
“Kevin” Scotty asked confused “where are Olivia and Daniel?”
“Who?” Kevin asked and looked at Michelle confused as well.
“Our children, Kevin” Scotty said.
“Um, I think I should get a doctor” Kevin said and Michelle followed him.
Once they were clear of the room the turned towards each other.
“What is wrong with Scotty” Michelle asked “who are Daniel and Olivia?”
“No idea but I’m getting a doctor” Kevin said looking around for the nearest doctor.

“What do you mean he isn’t himself?” the doctor asked.
“He is confused mention people I have no idea about and things that haven’t happened” Kevin answers.
“Okay, let’s go and see him” the doctor said.
“Michelle, could you find Mum and ask her to come” Kevin asked and Michelle nodded and turned around to see if she could find him.
“Mr. Wandell” the doctor said as he entered the room “my name is Benjamin Coe, how we are feeling today?”
“Okay” Scotty said looking from the concerned face of the doctor to the panicked face of his husband “what is going on?”
“What was the last thing you remembered?” doctor said causally.
“We were driving home and I don’t know really; I fell asleep” Scotty said sleepily “it had been a long day”
Ben looked at Kevin who nodded; confirming the story.
“Okay” Ben continued “Kevin is slightly concerned about some of the stuff you were saying earlier and with brain injuries we have to be careful. So what year is it?”
“2012” Scotty said straight away and then noticed the look shared between Ben and Kevin “what is wrong?”
“Can you tell me exactly what you were doing before the accident?” he asked really nervously knowing it was actually 2010.
“Well, it was Sarah’s and Luc’s wedding” Scotty started but stopped when heard Kevin inhale quickly “what is wrong, please tell me”
Kevin and the doctor shared a quick look.
“Please, what is it?” Scotty pleaded.
“Well, it is something I can’t really explain properly but after the accident you had some brain swelling and whilst you were be operated on some individual have a dream sequence, where the create an imagine or story about what happen after an accident. It’s not something that is quite understood but does occur rarely; especially since you have created two years in two weeks but I can recommend a specialist in the area for you”
Scotty looked at the doctor not believing it to be true “It can’t be; this must be some type of joke” he said pleading with Kevin but knowing from the look of Kevin it must be true.
“I’ll leave you two alone to adjust to the news” Ben said as he walked away.
