So the news is out: Michelle Andelman from Andrea Brown Literary Agency is now representing me. We spent 90 minutes on the phone talking about my books, my career plans, her plans for me, and it was all simply WONDERFUL

Kim, I'm so excited for you! Michelle is my agent too! (Or maybe you knew that, it's hard for me to remember!) but anyway, I think you'll be really happy with her. She's a pretty good communicator and has good editorial insight. I'm going to New York to meet her next week!

I think I recognize this lurker. Lori, is that you? Anyway, I'm working on a book about a Polish teenage girl struggling with her identity. It'll be humorous and touching at the same time (I hope). Gotta do some more research...KYM

CONGRATS on the agent!!!!! :) Yes, you can do task for the agent, and then you'll do it again (and again and again) for your editor. When I had to go through it, I, too, wondered if I'd survive, lol.
