I have gone to Heaven without dying! Sweet!
Is it too early to pre-order a book if it hasn't even been finished yet? I hope not...

The Super-Secret Project reminds me somewhat of this, but I'm sure you'll do it up well, and make it even more interesting. You've got flair (and not the button-y Office Space kind.. at least, I don't think).

Please tell me you're going to Neil's house for this, too. :D One can hope.

indeed, you may think of it as a cross between that and this. In my project, each author has six pages of photos and text.

Neil does have that cool gazebo.... And he will be the Guest of Honor at Worldcon this year.

That is made of serious win!

I am super extra excited because for once, I will actually get to experience this awesomely cool thing. Trust me that, coming from someone who lives in Perth, this is a really big deal.

Will you be at Worldcon? I may even be brave enough to come up and say hi. I'll be the Australian goth girl on her own in the corner looking overwhelmed.

If you want to help manage your whelm, come and look up the Brotherhood without Banners. We're nice to new folks, even Australians. Plus Kyle will be at our party.

Thank you. Having at least somewhere to start making sense of it all will be essential, I think. I've only ever been to a couple of smallish Australian cons (Continuum 3, with Neil Gaiman, Robin Hobb and Poppy Z. Brite as GOHs, in Melbourne, and a Swancon or two), and Worldcon will be on the other side of the planet, I'll be on my own, and at the beginning of a 3-4 month research trip in the US.

Sure thing. We have a reasonable Aussie contingent, so you shouldn't feel too out of place. Most of us tend to congregate online at asoiaf.westeros.org, if you want to get to know us first -- or just find us at the Con. We'll have the best party on the party floor. ;)
