Any Doctor Who/Whoniverse fans out there? Preferably those who have had the opportunity to see the pilot to Sarah Jane Adventures, Invasion of the Bane. Both show have some very similar themes and characters, which have been plaguing my mine with plot bunnies.

Who's Luke? I assume he's a character from a different show, and Sarah Jane brings to mind old Doctor Who. Am I right?

Luke is a character from the Sarah Jane adventures, a spin off of the new Doctor Who series.

Sarah Jane was a companion on old Who, who returned for an episode of New Who, then got the series.
