Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with Windows Based Linux Installations? I'm specifically looking at
Wubi right now, but I am aware that there are others. Wubi, specifically, installs a full copy of the Ubuntu OS on a Windows machine the same way it would any other normal program, but allows for booting the machine as a Linux box

Elsewise, I'd recommend something like VMware. This is the current 'big gorilla' in virtualization right now, and with my account at SCI, I can get you a copy of the Windows server right off.
Basically, VMware (and other similar programs) creates a 'virtual machine' in your Windows install. While VMware will likely take a little more overhead than Wubi, it will allow you to install and run -any- flavor of Linux.
