On a funnier note... I was cheering at the CA 1/2 IM last weekend, and there was a lady driving somewhat on the course (she was stopped and waiting to be told when it was safe to turn across a lane that was closed for the bike portion). She was on a phone, and sucking at following the directions. Some spectators yelled at her to get off the phone and pay attention.

Glad to hear you're ok. One helicopter ride a lifetime is more than enough...at least the involuntary type.

I had something similar happen when i first got my old Jeep. It didnt brake or steer very quickly, and a dude pulled out in front of me as i was going 50. Damn near T-boned the dude. Instead I swerved (somehow), hit the median, went air borne, my seatbelt came undone (again, OLD jeep) I was hanging on to the roll cage and steering wheel, flew across the thre lanes to the other median, where i came to a stop. Scared the shit out of me. Of course, the dude in the truck took off.
Wouldve been much scarier on a bike.
