>_> Using the graphic tablet's easier than pen and paper, in a way. You can play around as much as you want, screw up as much as you want - there's always the redo option to erase all evidences of mistakes. :3 I took my sweet time with these two. Around 3 days each, I think. Lots of zooming in and out and erasing and layering until my hand felt like it was about to fall off, then I stopped and put it off until the next day.
Plus, like I told Rachel, when I tried to draw on pen and paper I found that I couldn't draw that well anymore. >_> Might have to practice just writing and doodling to get my hand used to holding a pencil again.
Yeah, other people point that out to me too. .-. Maybe I'm just chicken with the multiple options and features I have to consider just so the sketch/outline will turn out right (zooming, hard and soft brushes, brush size), when I can do that much faster with good ol' mechanical pencil. But I need to practice with the tablet too!
Erm. Eventually. Maybe. Since I'll have to come up with colored, full-body designs for each character, anyway. +_+
Corel's simple enough. ._. I used Painter Essentials for this project - although the layering was a bit difficult to work with compared to Photoshop, since it's just Essentials... (like, basic features)
... You'd be one hell of an artist if you mastered the tablet. XD
