“We're getting married.”
Callie smiled as Arizona leaned in for a kiss. Her dark eyes drifted shut a second before their lips met. Her brow arched and she moaned, their clasped hands against her chest.
They were getting married.
In just under forty-eight hours now. She was two days away from saying 'I do' to the love of her life.
It didn't get much better than that.
Arizona suddenly pulled back from the kiss with a familiar gleam in her sparkling blue eyes. They were a lot darker than usual.
Which only usually meant one thing.
“We can't,” Callie instantly murmered with a glance towards the bedroom door. It wasn't locked and their parents were on the other side.
“We can be quiet,” Arizona's voice floated into her ears, causing Callie to shiver.
The blonde's smile turned sultry. “We can,” she repeated as she reached up with her free hand to slip it into dark hair.
Fuck.
Callie's hair was looking extra touchable lately. It must've been the new shampoo - vanilla and honey.
Arizona didn't give her girlfriend time to respond before she was leaning in to press their lips together again.
Callie groaned once more as she squeezed the hand still clutched tightly in her own. She felt a slight tug in her hair, then a deep shiver run down the back of her spine to settle right between her legs.
She didn't fight it when she felt Arizona's weight pressing into her body, coaxing her to lie back on the bed. A soft sigh escaped her lips when the down comforter grazed against her back.
Arizona was smooth; she'd definitely give her that.
But Arizona hadn't always been so smooth. It came with years of practice - many times and most importantly with the woman currently lying beneath her. Since that very first night they were together, it was almost like Callie belonged there.
Their bodies were so in tune. The same as their hearts and minds. Sure, they'd had their rough patches, but what couple didn't?
Arizona finally managed to extract her hand from Callie's to very slowly trail it down the center of her chest. She pressed in, kissing those sweet lips just a little harder as her fingers slipped beneath the hem of her girlfriend's black shirt.
Callie's breath hitched and her stomach tightened when she felt the delicate fingers tenderly stroking her flesh. She tensed when they trailed down the jagged line of her biggest scar.
She once thought they were hot. Bad-ass.
Not so much anymore.
Callie pulled out of the kiss and clamped a hand over the one beneath her shirt. The move made her girlfriend pull back from the kiss, but not away completely.
Blue eyes gazed into dark brown. “We're getting married,” Arizona repeated softly as she began to stroke her fingers over the scar again. “We're getting married in two days with our little girl between us.”
Callie felt tears burn at the back of her eyes, but she forced them down as she offered a small, shaky smile in return. “We're getting married.”
We're alive. Together.
With our little girl.
Our family.
No other words needed to be said as the blonde leaned back down to reclaim those soft and inviting lips.
Callie moaned as she released Arizona's hand to slide her own along the blonde's side. She trailed it across pale skin as a warm tongue gently pushed it's way between her lips.
Arizona sighed into the kiss and shifted her hips on the bed to lay a little more on top of her girlfriend. Her fingers tenderly stroked Callie's angry scar before slipping higher to glide across smooth, perfect flesh. She groaned deeply in the back of her throat as the breath became heavy in her chest.
She was getting aroused.
Judging by the sharp gasps and deep moans beneath her, so was Callie.
Arizona shifted on the bed again, sliding her right leg between her lover's as she angled her hips and slid her hand up even higher.
Callie tensed when she felt it curve over the swell of her right breast. They were sore and tender these days from breastfeeding Sofia, but it still felt really, really good when Arizona touched them. She was always slow and careful.
The blonde's fingers moved to the front clasp on Callie's bra and with a few expert flicks, the snaps popped open. Callie's large, full breasts spilled out. Another deep groan rumbled up from her chest as she moved her hand back over to squeeze the bare flesh.
Callie gasped into her girlfriend's mouth as she arched off the bed and into the touch. Her inner thighs were beginning to burn with her arousal.
This was so wrong. They couldn't be doing this.
Not here, not now.
And definitely not with their parents just another room away.
It was wrong, and yet still kinda very - hot.
Callie broke away from the kiss with a harsh breath. “We can't.”
Arizona's blue eyes had darkened considerably. “Yes, we can,” came her husky reply,. “iIf we're quiet.” A sultry smirk followed her soft words. “But I know you, baby,” she whispered, “and you're never quiet.”
It was one of the reasons she'd fallen so head-over-heels in love with Calliope from that very first night.
She was a moaner.
Sometimes even a screamer.
Arizona absolutely loved it when Callie was so loud and vocal during sex. It let her know she was doing something right.
Callie snorted. “You're one to talk,” she mused with a sexy smirk of her own. Her hand very slowly moved down to slip beneath the hem of Arizona's shirt. She held the woman's eyes as her fingers trailed over soft skin and firm muscle.
Arizona was a moaner, too.
Just another reason they were so perfect for each other.
Callie swallowed as she felt the dull, hard ache becoming insistent between her legs. If they didn't stop soon, she wasn't going to be able to. She bit her bottom lip and flattened her palm against her girlfriend's side.
Arizona was mesmerized by the look in her partner's beautiful eyes. She kept her hand resting over the warm breast, feeling Callie's hard nipple pressing into the center of her palm. The ache between her own thighs intensified by the touch against her side.
“We can be quiet,” she whispered softly. “They're distracted by Sofia for at least another hour.”
“Baby, stop talking,” Callie whispered in response. The last thing she wanted to think about right now was their parents or their daughter. “Just kiss me.”
Arizona leaned down to willingly oblige as her hand moved away. She grabbed the hem of the black shirt to push it up just beneath Callie's breasts.
Callie tensed with a harsh gasp when the cool air came into direct contact with the sensitive skin on her stomach. She gazed up at Arizona and felt another shiver travel through her.
Arizona's hand quickly moved back up to its previous spot as she leaned down to reclaim Callie’s lips. She groaned when she felt the woman’s hand glide sensually along her ribs.
She'd really missed Callie's touch.
They hadn't found much time for anything remotely sexual in the last...she'd lost count of how many days. Weeks. Definitely months.
Since the accident, the only things they'd focused on were Callie's recovery, Sofia's survival, and then the wedding planning. By the time they both fell into bed at night, they were too exhausted to do much more than kiss goodnight and roll over to pass out cold.
But not right now.
Now, they were both anything but tired.
Callie's hand slipped beneath the hem of Arizona's shirt to slide back up her side, this time her fingers meeting with bare skin.
The blonde moaned and instinctively squeezed the breast in her palm just a little harder.
Callie growled into the kiss and dug her nails into her girlfriend's ribs.
Arizona nearly lost it. She'd always loved it when Callie would scratch and claw at her like that.
It was so hot.
She pulled back out of the kiss with a harsh breath as she adjusted herself on the bed. For a moment, they were both silent as they stared into each other's eyes.
Eyes they would stare into every day for the rest of their lives.
“I love you, baby,” Arizona whispered, before beginning to smirk. “But we have to stay quiet.”
“Quiet,” Callie repeated with a low, husky whisper. She swallowed hard and licked her lips as she slipped her hand a little higher up Arizona’s shirt, digging her nails in again before giving her girlfriend’s body another tug. “Kiss me.”
Arizona groaned before leaning down to comply with the gentle request. Her hand slid out from beneath Callie's shirt to trail her fingers teasingly along her flat stomach to the button on her jeans. A quick flick and it was popped open. She moved her hand lower to slowly drag down the zipper.
The breath hitched in Callie's chest and it took everything she had not to moan.
Really loudly.
She always loved the sensation of her girlfriend's hands pulling and tugging at her pants to get them open. Especially if she had a belt on.
Arizona smiled as she kissed her way to the brunette's ear. “You promise to be quiet?” she whispered huskily before gently biting down against it.
Callie's nails dug in harder. She arched up and released a soft, breathy moan into her girlfriend's ear.
Arizona's smile turned to a sultry smirk as she pushed her hand into the waist of Callie's open pants.
The door to the room suddenly opened with the sound of the Colonel's voice drifting through. “Arizona? I can't find the list you gave me for-”
Daniel Robbins stopped dead in his tracks. His eyes were glued to the scene on the bed, too dumbfounded to look anywhere else.
“Did you ask her?” Carlos' voice filtered in as he walked up behind Daniel. He, too, was suddenly frozen in place.
Callie's matching gaze was wide and unmoving as she stared straight up at the ceiling. Arizona’s lips were still pressed against her ear and she could still feel the warmth of the hand inside her open pants.
Fuck.
Arizona's entire body was one solid, rigid form. Her muscles were so tensed that she was afraid she was going to rip something if she so much as blinked.
Or just moved at all. So, she didn't.
What else was she supposed to do when their fathers walked in to find them making out in bed with Callie's shirt hiked up and a hand shoved down her pants?
Carlos was the first to blink, but he still didn't move.
Daniel stayed rooted in place with his hand on the doorknob.
Arizona very slowly pulled away to lift her head and glance over at them. She smiled the best she could. “Uh, hey Dad.” Her eyes flickered to Carlos, but she wasn't brave enough to hold his gaze.
Callie closed her eyes and released a soft breath, but didn't dare move. She really hoped her father hadn't taken to throwing women up against walls since the last time she'd seen him.
Carlos was the first to blink, then cleared his throat. “Pardon us.” He glanced up to see Daniel still staring, shocked. “Perhaps we should come back in a few minutes?”
Still, the Colonel didn't budge.
“Mr. Robbins?” Carlos tried again. Nothing. “Daniel?” Still nothing.
“Colonel?”
That seemed to finally snap Daniel from his trance as he twitched, shook his head, and then immediately turned and walked away.
Carlos met Arizona's eyes and somehow managed not to glance down. His heart wouldn't be able to take it. He reached over to grab the doorknob and stepped back before pulling it shut behind him.
“Oh my God,” Arizona groaned the second the door was closed. She dropped her forehead onto Callie’s shoulder and whimpered. “I feel like I just got caught with my hand in the cookie jar.”
Callie's eyes opened and she glanced down, instantly smirking. “Never heard it called that before, but we can definitely go with it.”
“U-uh,” Arizona stuttered, blue eyes widening even more as she lifted her head. “I didn't mean-”
“Stop talking,” Callie interrupted with a soft husk. She lifted her eyes to meet Arizona’s as she pushed the hand further into her pants. “Since you're already in the jar, might as well go for the prize.”
Arizona groaned again as she leaned down to reclaim her girlfriend's lips.
She was marrying the sexiest woman on the entire freaking planet in just over two days.
And now she'd never be able to walk by another cookie jar without thinking about this moment.
But that was just fine. She'd always loved Callie's cookies.
