Runaway Sweetheart, touted as the mainland version of Gossip Girl meets Hana Kimi, was supposed to air two years ago, but kept getting delayed and delayed and delayed until I just forgot all about it. And then it started airing this past weekend, so I gobbled up the first five episodes, and, um.

I remember waiting for this drama when it was supposed to air but nothing came of it. Since then I completely lost interest in Gossip Girl so I wasn't interested in watching another version of it. But this seems more Hana Kimi than GG. I don't really see the GG comparisons. Are there any?

The overall plot is very much Hana Kimi. I honestly don't know much about GG, except that Blake Lively is in it, but Runaway Sweetheart does feature a blog where someone anonymously posts gossip and rumors... I'm guessing that's the link to GG?

That must be it then - the anonymous blogger part. As long as that's the only link to GG, I think I might check it out, lol.
