I like the banner but I'm not very sure about the colors, At least the pink isn't too sickening and there's lots of black to balance it out.

The pink is subdued, rather than lurid, and with the black and red gives sort of a '50s palette. I don't know if you'll think that's good or bad. :)

I hadn't really thought of it being sort of 50s-ish, but I suppose it does have that look. Sort of lipstick and black patent leather.
