He is a horn dog. ( He reminds me of Captain Jack Harkness (Dr Who and Torchwood))
He's not bashful about it either. He's brash. He flirts. He seems to be making a point of his skills as a lover. He got a job as an underwear model for Adrianna and Leyla's company.
He's decided to go after Adrianna.
During the snow storm on Llantano Mountain that trapped half the town at a ski lodge (there was a winter festival being held there and Adrianna's company was having a photo shoot there), he insinuated himself into the room Adrianna and Rex were sharing, interrupting their romantic evening.
They all ended up sleeping on the floor in front of the fire. They woke up in the morning practically spooned together. Rex was a bit squicked, Adrianna was embarrassed and Tate was raring to take it where ever it might lead.
Rex and Adrianna broke that thought and got the room number where she could take a shower, but unfortunatley Rex had the room numbers backwards as to where the girls were and where the boys were. Tate went to the boys room and stripped naked just in time for Adrianna to walk in on him. Naked.
Rex shows up a minute after Tate puts on a robe, only to hear Tate say that Adrianna had already seen him naked. Adrianna fusses that Rex gave her the wrong room number and she walked in on Tate.
Rex covers his confusion, and says he needs a shower, too. Should they flip a coin for the first shower?
Tate teases: "Well, we've all slept together, I'm sure there's room in the shower for three."
Rex gets bug-eyed.
Adrianna nixes the whole idea that they "slept" together.
Rex tries to get Adrianna's attention back to their coitus interrupted by suggested the two of them, at least shower together.
Adrianna just wants to go home and tells Tate that he can just go home in the second car the company brought to the mountain and then rushes out.
Tate smirks as if he's pitched a perfect game.
But I've got a few questions about his motives. I'm beginning to smell a storyline that's more than just about a famous ex-ball player being in town and coming between Adrianna and Rex. Like which one of them is he really after? And is he using Adrianna to deflect attention from his interest in Rex. But then again, would ABC do a story about a gay baseball player coming out after retiring?
