Some of it was a little too like fan fic...when he was in the hospital I kept thinking "open the windows so he can get the sun" like someone who I forget did in their fic. I think I just wanted a better script. Visually stunning though!

I thought the same thing! As I said Bryan Singer is a fanboy and that's the way the movie played.
