Just my opinion

I have never liked Lana Lang. It mostly comes from the fact that Kristin Kreuk is a marginal actress. Beauty only takes you so far. Kristin wasn't made to play the princess. Her best work has been when she's playing possessed, evil or in a scene with MR. AlMiles vision of "Lana" never fit Kristin and it grated on my last nerve ( Read more... )

Agreed with a fury.

The rift is going to BE MADE about Lana. Wow, how deep, even for a TV show.

I've put up with all of AlMiles shit knowing that DC has done just as weird storylines.

But Lana is just not my thing.

I'll stick to my own denial AUs.

The real actor in the cast -- other than John Glover -- is Michael Rosenbaum and I think he looks better in a dress than Kristin if it's by the right designer nor does he need Tom's pretty hair.

Oh, yes! You know, this statement represents both serious commentary and allusions to comic releief -- both of which I adore. How much would I give for some of those "Lex as a cross-dressing, strung-out rebel" stories to be proven true via flashbacks? Very sexy, glittery, sweaty, hazy flashbacks... *g*

Having said that, I think it's a pretty low blow for them to use Lex to make Lana somewhat sympatheic; it's not that any of us really like her per se, it's that I like her by proxy now b/c she (sometimes) treats Lex like a human being. Or maybe reather than "us", I'm simply speaking for myself --- either way, it's a dirty trick, and a trick designed to make her FAR more pivotal to the characters' devleopments than she has any right to be!!
