hi! I am not supposed to be here. my dissertation proposal is a mess. etc. etc.

BUT I wanted to say that I loved all the Dawn + Logan, Logan/Kira, Dawn + Logan + Kira + Meghan stuff going on, even as everything Giles-related made me wince (I would like to think that Giles would be not nearly that stuffy and unreachable, but it's been a long time since I watched the show and I might look at him differently if I rewatched it now). And I love that this takes the position of Dawn as crucial even though she's not actually fighting -- Dawn as background resource and therefore fighter.

I sadly can believe that Giles wouldn't trust Dawn as much as he should in a situation like that. With that said, Dawn pretty much rocks. I love the way you write her.

Yeah. I didn't want this piece to feel like character-bashing, but I very much believe that Giles would have growing pains. And fic/fanon that implies Dawn would be accepted right off the bat confuses me.
