I've never had a romantic/sexual ot3 before - it was always something platonic with possible subtext (Caroline, Bonnie and Elena come to mind), but I think Isaac/Allison/Scott is my first real ot3. I still prefer Lydia/Allison, but I'm okay with the alpha-threesome-polyandry thing, which actually surprised me.

Also?

Lydia hasn’t been this excited since she discovered Malia’s secret obsession with Moulin Rouge.

This needs to be explored in a drabble.

But the idea of pregnancy giving Allison Alpha-status wouldn't really work in an Allydia fic, unfortunately. Unless they asked Scott to be the sperm donor? Which I think they probably would... but Isaac/Scott/Allison is so CUTE I couldn't resist trying it on just once.

no seriously just. how are you so perfect? I would NEVER have thought of something like this from my prompt, and yet, it is glorious and a brillaint, wonderful idea. ALLISON PREGNANT WITH A LITTLE WOLF BABY AND COMBINED WITH PAST ARGENT RECESSIVE GENES, MAKES HER INTO SOME KIND OF HUMAN ALPHA. I CAN'T GO ON HOW BRILLIANT.

I think what I love is, despite the unusual scenario, it feels very canonical? Like, the focus is on Allison and her boys, but you have Stiles and Derek bickering in the background, Kira and Malia and Lydia all doing stuff and making comments and it feels very THEM, despite them not being the focus, they don't disappear into the background.

Allison ignores them, looking over at Scott, waiting for it to stop feeling like she's waiting for him to say something. He doesn't. He's Scott. He'll wait for her lead.

(I was slightly inspired by Originals-canon, because Hayley being a wolf-mommy is so goddamn inspiring. She gets stronger the longer she's pregnant and really grows into being a goddamn Queen. That's the kind of thing I would have loved for Allison.)

I was also considering a ~came back wrong~ sort of a thing... but that would have been more in an Allydia!angst genre and I really wanted fluffy ot3 cuteness, because I so rarely play with Scott/Allison/Isaac and that seems like a shame.

yeay I am especially so glad about this. I have serious Mccall-pack ~feelings. and have been warned to stay away from this season, so I've been feeling super nostalgic. I still haven't watched Allison's death because I just can't deal The pack is so important to me. Especially Kira and Malia forever mourning Erica and Boyd.
