Okay - so you should know that in-canon Clarke and a passel of people go out into the woods to get to a stash of supplies and one kid gets impaled with a spear. they regroup and take the Leader with them and find him tied to a pole (alive and well) but are attacked by a doggy-creature that Leader shoots. (so far the only thing I'm changing about canon is how Clarke feels about what's happening in-canon. Which is how most of it is going to go and I don't want you to be lost!)
