The Tenenbaums fic is SO IMPORTANT. It's the most gorgeous character study of anything ever.

Also, Icon squees! SISTER LOVE BITCHES. Dawn/Buffy need elaborate woodcarvings of their gorgeous faces. So many emotions and conflicts and happy sisterly adoration. Ugh. I want to weep.

SING IT. (And I'd add it's underappreciated not just by fandom but by the show writers but you know that of course.) I LOVE that Potential set. LOVE IT. I think my favorites of all of these include ones you didn't submit.

And YES to the tactile quality of their communication - touching, hugging, stroking hair, etc. It's a beautiful thing.

Individually, I totally agree. But I still worry about ~audience when I do these things and I thought (perhaps incorrectly) that Dawn+Buffy would be a better sell than Dawn on her own? And also the sister-sets allowed for more variety in cropping, which is what I was really trying hard to do.

SUMMERS SISTERS ARE SO TACTILE AND LOVELY TO EACH OTHER. But in this delightfully restrained way?! Gorgeous performances between the two of them always.
