Okay so I haven't done an icon dump in a while, which means that this is going to be tricky (for me to determine which ones were for which challenge more than anything, lol. I need to get better organized).

I voted two of your icons this time and I especially loved the Buffy and Tara (The Body) one. It's really beautiful and I love the color effect with negative space. Gorgeous. I also don't like much negative space in icons. I think it fits better with wallpaper and backgrounds. I love close-ups when it comes to tiny images.

I think as an art form, icons are really limited in space and that makes negative space all the more interesting to me - because you have to balance the form and the content in a really different way. And personally it's really difficult to make the close-up ones? I never get all the angles right or comfortable. I think for me, it just depends on what I need. You know?

I tried to do icons but it's just a skill I don't have. I found more interesting and enjoyable doing a vid, so I really don't understand technicality. I tend to prefer and save close-up icons, I don't know why. Maybe because the image is so small and I like it really focused on a particular subject.
