ALSO, you've tackled my personal favorite trope in this; narratives as a way of telling narratives
Best writing-kink there is. Never not going to be obnoxious in my love for narratives-within-(self-exposing)-narratives.

Veronica, in fact, interestingly enough, is probably the one most often blindsided
She is blindsighted so often because she... she needs there to be villains and heroes more than anyone else. (I feel?)
I also love how much she desperately needs Logan/Weevil to be the villains so that she can play the hero - and how the two of them just let her do that when she needs it. It hurts and they all say terrible things, but they play her game because they need it as much as she does.

WHY THESE THREE WHY?!

And they think they're being heroes, but all they're doing is creating a mess which the hero of this story will need to clean up eventually (she doesn't need to be saved.)THIS. And sometimes they make a mess
