Purely to end your rather heated curiousity (and not because I like talking about Harry Potter- you understand):

It makes no sense, also, unless Harry possess some incredible power, I cannot understand why he seems to do everything.'
The problem is because when Harry was born a prophecy was made that one day one would kill the other, and none could live so long as the other survived, so Lord V. tries to kill him before he gets too old to kill Lord V. This is explained in book 5. So you can calm down now :)
