hey there,

i am back from nova rock... i would like to post a proper update on bands and situation in general but not tonight. i am WAY TOO tired. *yawn*

anyway, i was thinking of trying to be around more often again and applying an other layout. i seem to get tired of my layouts all the time. eww

I'm on last.fm and it's fun. It's a great way to be introduced to new music. So let's say you look at someone's page and they are listening to lots of the same music that you are, but there are a few bands that you don't know. Well, then you can download them and listen and you'll probably like them because you have the same taste in music. At least you hope that's how it goes. There is also a recomended radio station that is fun too. I'm brokenlolita if you want to add me if you decide to join.

i found this great story called 12 rites of passage or something.. it's huge and i have been reading on and off for days on it now... but it's so good!!

i've been looking for that for ages! i read it years ago!!! its awesome. there is a pre-quel called "6 degrees of seperation".

i once joined last.fm but like you i don't really see the point of it. Same as with myspace really.

it's funny how after seeing bands you're into them more, i had the same with linkin park after seeing them at pinkpop!

of course last.fm is worth joining! at least i'm enjoing it a lot. you can see what bands you've listened the most and you can also get to know some new music too, via your friends. you can plan a concert/gig calendar there and join groups as well. plus there's this radio thing too, which you can listen to. :)

but does that mean you can listen to any music by steaming (not downloading), so i could listen to music at work via last.fm? that'd be cool!

yes you can listen the music there without downloading anything if you want. you just have to have the program on yor computer. that you need to download though, of course.

so it really does not work WITHOUT installing anything.. i cannot install new programs on my work notebook.. that is why.
