I haven´t used deodorant with aluminium for years and I try make my friends change their deodorants, but finding deodorants without aluminium is a task and you need a bit of patience - at least here in Norway. Not sure about other countries.
i know, i have been using deodorants from a Germany eco line called Alverde before coming to Nicaragua. but of course you cannot find anything like that here and the ones i brought from home, changed the texture and didn´t help either. because well you just tend to sweat more in the tropic heat, right?
and now that i was diagnosed with a cyst last year (in my breast, exactly close to my armpit), i totally went on alert again. maybe we should just all get to washing more often, i mean, there are good toilets in most restaurant, office building etc. facilities are there. it is probably not the most convenient way. but, well, i also think stop using them it may reduce sweat production too after a while, no?
I remember hearing about this a long time ago. It makes me worried, but I also don't know what to do because it seems like so many things are supposed to hurt me. I should probably switch away from regular anti-persperants though, but there is a huge stigma about sweat in this culture.
