i know, it was amazing & breathtaking. and so different from the mountains, i have known so far in my life. every time i am amazed that volcanoes are like a connection the core of our earth. it is so unbelievable, you know?!

Eek - that looks painful! I fell on some lava rock in Iceland and it hurt SO much! You're not kidding when you say that it's sharp and pointy!

Sorry that he didn't make it up the volcano - bummer!

it was not that much pain, actually the scratches are very superficial, so it is no problem. they don't hurt anymore & are healing quickly. but this part of the body, the lower arm has also very sensitive skin, so...

i know, i feel stupid for actually making it an issue, but i can't help it. i am rather disappointed :(

Oh, I totally understand the "didn't make it up" thing - I don't think you're making too big a deal of it!

those scratches and the pants makes it seem like a difficult hike! but it looks great fun :)

it was not much difficult, rather you needed to take care soooooooo much. usually i do not go on a mountain with that type of pants, either. it was clear that they get torn when we sled down on the stones & sand....

hahah, that would be a turn off for me as well. I mean, you want a man to be big and strong , well at least more than you , so in times of danger (ahem) he could protect you. Not some wimp who would possibly run away instead ;)

but you know, actually i find it stupid that i feel that way. in a modern world, a guy definitely does not need to be physically stronger than us... but i still feel i might have expected too much.. haha.
