I think I can concur with you on almost every outfit here. I only wish that the YSL sequin jacket was in the right proportions because the sleeves are just a little bit too short and the waist a tad too high for the outfit to work properly for me. But the jacket is gorgeous by itself.

I think my favourite of Johnny's red carpet outfits has to be the one he wore to the GLAAD awards. Maybe because he looked so shiny and happy there.

I agree about the jacket, it doesn't fit him perfectly, but I can forgive that, because it is vintage and because I covet it. I do think that he has a general problem with getting jackets that fit him well, a lot of them make him a little boxy, which is crazy, because he definitely isn't.

I also love the GLAAD awards look, he does looke shiny and happy and his make up is stunning! What about least favourite? :)

The Breast Cancer Research benefit outfit is my least favourite.

The hair and the headband is a whole issue by itself. (On what planet did you think that was a good look, Johnny?)

Also that jacket doesn't work with the shirt at all. The trousers don't fit very well either.

I agree, obviously, there is nothing even a little okay about that outfit, but the hair is truly terrifying. I'd rather he wear it super slicked back every day than with a central parting.

I must admit that I usually don't like Johnny's style. However, I love the fact that he has a personal style, which is always a good thing and something not many people accomplish. And hell, whether or not I (or anyone else, for that matter) like the outcome is completely irrelevant. :D

I do love the first outfit you posted, though, and I think this one looks absolutely fabulous on him. Admittedly, I'm also not completely opposed to this one, though I could have done without the ugly green hat thing.

This is true, people should dress in order to make themselves happy, Johnny clearly accomplishes this. He has so much fun with his clothes, which is why I don't get all the hate they inspire. Clothes are supposed to be fun! His are! :DD

Hee, we definitely disagree about that one, I think the green hat is the least of his problems there! Though I hate fur, so I will never be able to like an outfit with this much fur in it, so I am not exactly objective. But yeah, he looks super hot in the stripey one.

Hee, I am pleased. Sometimes when reading the comments on _skating I think I am all alone with my positive opinions. And it's not even a case of I love Johnny so I love everything he chooses to be (well, maybe a little...) because I read a million fashion blogs a day, and I tend to be very critical of what people wear, I just think he dresses well.

I want him to do that, that would be great! :D

I love this post so much! I never see all the details about fashion so I love it when someone points it out. This reminds me of when I hardcore followed Project Runway and would read all the blogs dissecting each outfit. I would look at the outfit, like or dislike it, read the post about it, and then return to the picture and see SO MANY THINGS that I didn't see at first - like texture and color and shape and little details. Thank you for this!

Hee, I am so pleased! At first I was just going to post the pictures, but then I had all these thoughts and felt like I need to justify my placings, because I know that the general fandom opinion is very different to mine and so I ended up babbling an awful lot!
