My theory is that we were only shown a small part of the drugged up confessions, there were definitely more... intimate ones as well. Definitely and possibly a kiss, because Neal can blame it on the drugs, he indulges himself. And then they are all awkward and El laughs at them both and fixes it by kissing Neal to even the playing field. (Yeah, I am a total 0T3 girl)

I only support the Neal/Peter/El dynamic in the sense of Neal loves Peter, Peter loves Neal and El, and El loves Peter. Which is basically the premise of the fic I'm thinking up. Not to give too much away but: I'm thinking that Neal makes a little more of a confession whilst all drugged up and there's a kiss. Later, there's a sober conversation and a little... hmm... begging, so to speak, from Neal. More kissing. Peter feels guilty. Goes home and makes love to El. That's the non-spoilery summation of it. HAH.

But for some reason I can never bring myself to read/write threesomes. I'm a one on one kind of girl. *is weird*

This is an awesome summary, and I think that it really fits with canon. :D I hope you finish it. :)

I don't have a problem with threesomes, but Neal/Peter/Elizabeth is the first time where I actively ship one. I just think that El is too awesome and Peter loves her too much to abandon her. I do agree that as things are, Neal and Elizabeth like each other a lot, but a fic needs to show that like turn into love.

HEEEE, I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THAT HAPPENED. One of the things I am writing is a fic where Neal goes undercover as a scantily dressed waiter at a special party hosted by the gay suspect and eventually Peter gets dragged into it and they have to pretend to be a couple and El gives hip tips no how to act, even though he totally doesn't need them. There is even a really cracky plot involving stolen Egyptian fertility symbols and I need to actually finish it.

I LOVE El, she is so awesome, when she laughed at Peter's complete inability to flirt, it was so awesome, and I am glad that she did get a little annoyed with the 'magic hands', because it would have been weird otherwise. I ♥ their marriage.
