Yesterday I went to a merlin_london meet up. I have been meaning to go for a while, because I miss the hilarity and awesomeness of fandom meet ups, but I guess that choosing the Christmas one as my first time, was a little stupid (because of the sheer number of people there). I ended up enjoying myself and the few people that I did talk to were all awesome,

Aww, that's a shame! You should come next time! It was fun, but it made me feel all nostalgic about the toobs, I randomly found a folder of pics from past meet ups and it made me realise that it's been two years since I'd seen any of you! Sad times.

OMG, it was! I love Morgana/Morgause, I know they are meant to be realted, but Morgana doesn't even know that and the way they interact is insanely slashy!

Ahhhh, I'm so jealous! I would love to do something like this, except I don't think there are enough fans anywhere near where I live. Also, America is just too lame for gigantic Merlin meetings. So what was it like, besides sort of overwhelming?

Aww, but you have all the big cons there, we only have small meet ups here! It was nice, we met at the pub and lots of people brought cakes and there were candy canes and awesome Merlin theme badges and we played pass the parcel with fandom forfeits and decorated merlin posters. Annoyingly there was a football game on, and we were sitting close to the big tv screen and so were slowly surrounded by a bunch of guys and eventually people went onto a different pub, but I had to leave by that point.

Ahahaa, there are big cons? Wow, I am obviously behind on the...knowing stuff... THAT SOUNDS AMAZING. It sounds like a really fun party (besides the football game, which is just...yeah, lame) and ahhhhh I wish there were fangirls around here! Instead, I just get together with, like, one other person, and we get takeout and watch episodes off my VCR (because, um, I'm technologically challenged?) and it's fun, but WOW MERLIN PARTY.

Well not for Merlin, I don't think, but generally! Watching it with one person is still fun though, I've never watched any episodes with fans! But yeah, the party was awesome, can't lie! :D

Hi! I talked to you briefly on Sunday I think (the guy with glasses and a thundercat t-shirt :D) It was only my second Merlin Meet-up, you should totally come again :)

I was scared the first time I went and I knew Kip already, so I guess I had it easier. It's much easier second time round :D

And I'm loving the comedy between Merlin and Arthur. And yes, Merlin's cross-dressing obsession ^^
