This is why I love Gossip Girl. Every single moment of this episode was pure gold. I have never squeed so much. I think it took twice as long to watch it, as I had to stop it flail/capslock/remember to breathe.

If it's anything like her getting stabbed in the head, then I guess so, because that spot in the brain is apparently the power center, and we've seen from her and from Peter that the power resumes once the obstruction is gone (though apparently that doesn't DAMAGE it? which is wut. I guess it has to be totally obliterated). I'm assuming Rene acts the same way, a sort of suppression, much like an obstruction would. So I guess it's not like Rene can stick around for her body to decompose or whatever, BUT it does remind of me the same question I asked once upon a time about the obstruction. A guy can't hang around a dead body forever, but a stick in the brain can. Will regeneration STILL occur if the body's halfway decomposed?

Why am I trying to apply logic to Heroes?

Yeah, that was definitely the end of Gretchen, I used to hate it when people just disappeared, but can't say I am going to miss her terribly...

Hm, with a half decomposed body, surely the power centre itself would have decomposed, in which case, regeneration would be impossible?? But then logic =/= Heroes, so we should probably not think about this.

I haven't read any Heroes fic in I don't even know how long, but right now I would love to read something long that fixes everything!

Oh definitely! I guess I've gotten over most of my ZQhair-related horror, but I still want him to get a haircut. And go back to s1-2 hair. *nostalgic*
