Daiki stumble into Yabu’s apartment kicking off his shoes as he went to Yabu’s room.
Yabu looked up as Daiki entered, “Daiki, why did you call asking to come over? You sounded upset, hell you look upset.”
It was a little nerve-racking to have a friend so perceptive he looked around cornered, “Yabu.”
Yabu sighed, “I was offering to listen, you called me remember.”
Daiki sunk to the floor, “Yabu, I don’t know if I can talk about it.”
Yabu snorted and turned back to his book.
Daiki stared at the floor, “Yabu, I have a question…”
Yabu looked down at him, “What is it…”
Daiki asked, “How did you know…”
Yabu interrupted him, “Why don’t we discuss this over ice cream? You look like you need it.”
Daiki scowled, “Ice cream? I’m not a kid, Yabu.”
Yabu grinned, “I know, we’ve been friends for a while and I know you aren’t a kid. I promise to answer any question you want over ice cream.”
Daiki blurted out, “How did you know you were gay…”
Yabu stared at him, “I wasn’t expecting that one. Why…”
Daiki shrugged, “No reason but I think maybe another friend of ours is gay. “
Yabu thought about this evasive statement, “Oh really, besides me and Shoon of course.”
Daiki nodded, Yabu and Shoon were pretty affectionate outside of school especially after meeting his dad and Yamapi.
Yabu stared at him, “Hikaru or Inoo…”
Daiki startled at the first name, “Umm…Inoo…”
Yabu was silent for a bit, “Well…” he bought Inoo was gay because he knew Inoo better then anyone but why had Daiki reacted strangely when he mentioned Hikaru? Did they have a fight? Was that why Hikaru had been acting that way at practice and their tension? Yabu laughed nervously for thinking so long, “Inoo is, he had a crush on a classmate of Shoon for a while.”
Daiki interrupted, “Did I know him…” he had hung out with some of his sempais after he joined the soccer club.
Yabu shook his head, “No, he left before we knew you.” he frowned, “He currently likes someone but has been afraid to admit it. I yelled at him for it earlier.”
Daiki blinked, “Does Inoo really like Chii? Hikaru was actually right…” what else did Hikaru know that he didn’t?
Yabu nodded, “And Chii likes Inoo. Inoo is like Shoon, University probably won’t hurt them. Tell me what happened with Hikaru earlier.”
Daiki stared at his feet, “I guess I was a little bit obnoxious, he was just looking out for me and I reacted badly.”
Yabu sat up and closed his book setting it down, “What did you do…”
Daiki shifted nervously turning red, “I called him a screw up and a worthless irresponsible sempai.”
Yabu was struck dumb and then he all but yelled, “You did what? Are you as freaking blind as Hikaru? He can see Inoo and Chii or Shoon and I but he can’t seen into his own heart.” he glared at Daiki, “Are you just as blind…”
Daiki bit his lip, “I don’t know what you mean.”
Yabu rolled his eyes, “Are you sure you’re not in love with him…”
Daiki stammered, “What’s love got to do with it…”
