I'm pretty sure Apple has repair programs, though to be honest I suspect the cost of the repair wouldn't be worth it. You'd get more for your money with a new one, considering how fast the technology improves.

Apple sells refurbs, which is how I got my current unit. It's hit-or-miss what they'll have available at any given time, but keep an eye on it and you might be able to get a refurb 80-gig pretty cheap.

Suck it up. I really didn't need to plop down the $250 for the 120g monster, but you know what? Every day, I'm glad I did.....especially since you told me about gomusic.
