so glad you liked it, despite it being an AU! and i thought it would be curious to see them portrayed in this soft way, considering that they are usually portrayed quite boisterous.

BRANDO IS KING, TBH.

Pianos.
*__*

I know absolutely nothing of classical music or pianos but I'm still seriously soaking up all the goodness. Like, I was pretty much just drooling over the idea of piano-lessons and pretty music and whatnot. you could've left the Klaine out of this and I'd still be happy ahaha

but the combination is great, I absolutely adore the idea of them playing piano together.

Now excuse me while I go reread my Nodame Cantabile

i know absolutely TOO MUCH about piano in general, to be quite honest. i'm glad this still got into you even though you know nothing of its subject. awesome!

also, bb, before reveals i kept seeing you around praising this piece and dying to know who wrote it, and i kept squealing to myself about it. so for that i say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH. &hearts

That kind of thing is exactly what makes me love instead of like a fic, tbh. I might know nothing of a subject, but if the author is just being a nerd about something they love... I dunno, it usually shows and makes me very very interested and enthusiastic. :D
And I would not mind at all if there was more... well, music related fic in this fandom. In a non song-fic way.

Haha, you're very welcome! I'm keeping my eye on you in the future. in a non-creepy way, I promise. I'm still very much in love with it after rereading it yesterdayyy ♥♥♥

Oh my god. This, I don't, it's just, so beautifully put together. The musical background, the piano exercises, the cadence of their falling into their relationship. It like the music at some point just flows. ♥

So it's been a bitch trying to find words after reading this because, honestly, after all that, there's nothing much left to say.

It's just, the kind of subtlety/quiet intensity throughout the whole thing, it pulls you in and then before you know it, you're seeing Blaine through Kurt's eyes and you're falling in love with him a little bit too. The slow build up that you kind of maybe not notice but can't not at the same, oh god I just. Cannot.

When they first kiss, Kurt just, fitting his hands over Blaine's like he did with his mom... That parallel just completely, just. So good. The scene where Blaine gives him the note and just, everything after that. So much tension oh my god I love it ( ... )

seriously, though, i couldn't have done it without you. never ever ever. thank you for letting me ramble ridiculous at you and send you this shit at 3 am in thousand word snippets and just.

THANK YOU/I LOVE YOU/YOU'RE AWESOME/FUCK

Oh, oh, this. So beautiful in every detail. The atmosphere was enchanting, almost cinematic and gorgeous and full of perfectly observed moments. The way you wrote both of them and weaved them together, watching Kurt fall in love and Blaine being so composed and charming and then the scene of them playing when they're both soaked from the rain, just, oh.

I could highlight so many lines for being especially lovely, but this was the one that stood out for me:
He knows they look impressive, in this moment, where their arms weave across each other like telephone wires again and again and again until the sharp separation where they resort quickly to opposite ends of the scale and finish in a timed piece of chaotic contrast that fades out to just the small, soft ping of Kurt’s drawn out high G.
