The moment I saw this photo and the day when it was taken, I had pretty much the same conclusion: Brody, Rachel, Kurt and Carmen won't have the scene together in 4.10 (I was already confused by that someone tweeting about shooting a Christmas performance at the Disney Concert Hall when Adam Shankman didn't tweet anything about working yesterday).

The 'Christmas perfomance' mistake probably came about because Lea Michele was filming a performance of 'O Holy Night' (from the first Xmas album), which still seems to be in 4.09 from what we know. I'm told Streisand has covered the song, and Brazilians did say that one of her Barbra solos in 4.09 was a song she'd done before, too, so this looks like it.

And this basically erases the debate happening in the coffee!post wether the Christmas will involve a Hummelberry scene at NYADA.

(my supposition)
If NYADA puts on musicals staring their students (which apparently they do since I saw some rumor about Rachel auditioning for a part...?), usually first year students don't get big roles so Kurt could easily offer his help to work with the costume department (and who would turn down someone who got an internship on Vogue...?)

I thought it might have been him in costume but out of character, based on the body language, but it being his stand=in makes sense of the way the facial features seemed off. Thanks!
